The Bride & Groom usually decide prior to the wedding ceremony whether they would like their guests to sit wherever they choose to and then they would in some instances put up a cute sign that will say something along lines of “Choose a seat, not a side. We’re all family once the knot is tied!”.
Alternatively, the couple may decide to have designated seating for the bridesmaids and groomsman in the front row as well as for close family relatives thereafter. It is also a small element that makes those that are closest to you feel even more special than they already are.
GRANDMOTHER OF THE BRIDE
FATHER OF THE BRIDE
According to common practice, wedding guests know that the first few rows of seating is usually reserved for family. However, I think that it is a great idea if you would like to add that unique touch to your wedding day. It also makes your family feel even more special than they already are by have a seat with their title on it. This worked particularly well for our wedding because I wanted something that would indirectly thank my parents and family for all their love and support throughout our ten-year relationship and pre-marriage over and above the gifts we decided to flourish them with.
MOTHER OF THE BRIDE
MOTHER OF THE GROOM
You could even have special seating allocated for your Bridesmaids and Groomsmen in the very first row of your wedding if they are not standing throughout the ceremony. Below is an example of the seating card especially for my Maid of Honour, Mary.
MAID OF HONOUR
Make your family feel special as well as your Bridesmaids and Groomsmen by placing an order for their seating at your wedding. Each seating card is finished off with a beautiful ribbon of your choice selected from a wide variety of colours perfectly suited to your wedding theme. You can also personalize the colour of the seating card.
